Optimuse sucht: Communication and Marketing Manager Working student (F/M/D) | 25h/Woche


OPTIMUSE is a Vienna-based start-up with a focus on the building industry. We provide a software solution that autonomously generates the planning of technical systems in buildings to increase energy efficiency without compromising comfort and safety.

We are looking for a new team member to support us as a Communication & Marketing Manager for around 25h per week (more or less hours can be discussed).


Your new role

• Develop and implement an overall communication and marketing strategy for the OPTIMUSE brand and its products

• Actively build and maintain a relevant press distribution list and respond to media enquiries

• Manage our social media channels (LinkedIn and YouTube) and build an active community

• Create cross-media content for different communication channels and formats (e.g., website, social media, brochures, press releases, videos, etc.) in close coordination with the respective team

• Organize and coordinate external appearances at congresses and fairs (on site and virtually) as well as customer events

• Expierence with Photoshop, Google Ads and Google Analytics is a plus


Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, journalism or related fields

• First experience in a communications/marketing department of a company (ideally B2B) or comparable role in an agency/media industry

• You see yourself as an all-rounder when it comes to marketing and communication

• Interested in building industry topics and current developments in digital marketing, storytelling and social media, ready to contribute new ideas and inspire your colleagues

• First experience in defining and implementing target group-oriented communication campaigns and editorial skills with creativity and stylistic confidence (e.g., for press releases)

• Fluent in German and English
