Mike Flannagan

Mike Flannagan has served in various leadership roles with Cisco, most recently as Vice President and General Manager for Cisco’s Data & Analytics Software Group. During his tenure at Cisco, Mike has led businesses in Technical Support Services, Professional Services, Managed Services, Enterprise Software, Data Management Software and Analytics. Mike has extensive experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, and Business Development.

Mike is active in the startup community, serving as Cisco Executive Sponsor for the ChallengeUp! Accelerator (jointly with Intel and Deutsche Telekom), and Cisco’s Entrepreneurs In Residence program. Mike has mentored approximately 20 startups, including three that have been subsequently acquired.

Prior to Cisco, Mike held IT leadership positions in consulting and global media companies, and founded several start-ups. Mike is a Cisco Certified Internetwork Engineer, has multiple patents, has co-authored six technically oriented books, and is a frequent keynote speaker at Cisco and industry events on topics of Managed Services, Data Management and Analytics.

Mike has an MBA from Auburn University, serves on several company boards, as Chairman of an Advisory Board for Auburn University’s College of Business, and as a Council member for the Auburn Graduate School Advisory Board.
