Daniel Dobler graduated at Hagenberg University of Applied Sciences in Media Technology and Design and worked at the Institute for Simulation and Training, University of Central Florida, Orlando, Florida, on several research projects. He founded Interactive Media Solutions in 2004 (former name Audite OEG), successfully realizing a wide variety of media projects for POS, trade-fairs, museums, etc., being ranked 1st at the i2b contest for best business out of 219 submissions in 2004 and voted 5th in Austrian start-ups in 2006.
He lead several research projects in the context of interactivity, gesture control, projection systems, audio processing and optical tracking including partners such as TU Vienna, OFAI, FH St. Poelten, etc. Many of his projects have been awarded, e.g. Nomination Staatspreis Multimedia 2009 for the exhibition Haydn Explosive, Airport Media Award 2011 for VW USB-Wall, …
As a mentor he offers knowledge in media, web and digital signage business and in defining research projects as well as in research funding.
