The Startup Camp process
The Startup Camp starts after a rigorous selection process with a Welcome Breakfast for the selected startups. Here you can pitch your idea & network for the first time in front of the “peers”, the INiTS team, the “older” INiTS startups, alumni, investors and representatives of other funding agencies.
Afterwards we kickstart the Startup Camp, which consists of an intensive workshop program based on the Lean Startup method and Customer Development by Steve Blank. You will be challenged to verify your hypotheses about your business model, product or service during interviews with potential customers. The rapidly developed minimal viable product will be adjusted, refined or even changed completely (“pivoting”).
At the same time you will also learn about classical business subjects and soft skills during the Startup Camp. Financials, marketing, grants, intellectual property, pitch training and much more will be brought to you by the experts in our network in form of workshops with Q & A sessions. You will get the business know-how through individual coaching sessions, access to mentors, community events, and access to the INiTS service partners.
